Our Group charity THRF Group – Creative Health is driving best-practice creative health within South Australian hospitals through world-leading arts, music and design programs, hands-on diversional therapies and other creative initiatives for the benefit of patients, visitors and staff – with fantastic results.
Creative Health Services
Providing music therapy for patients in intensive care and undergoing renal dialysis at the Royal Adelaide Hospital to help reduce pain perception and anxiety, enhance their mood and improve their overall health and wellbeing.
Supporting patients in areas such as mental health, stroke rehabilitation, cognitive impairment, general medicine and palliative care by providing one-on-one or group art therapy sessions to aid their treatment and recovery.
Delivering hands-on activities such as painting, woodwork and drawing under the guidance of diversional therapists to provide people recovering from severe injury and mental health daily opportunities to engage in purposeful work outside their standard treatment.
Exhibiting the work of artists in galleries set up in South Australian hospitals to promote a more calming and healing environment for patients, staff and visitors.
