Stripe
- By agreeing to the Direct Debit Request you authorise Stripe to arrange for funds to be debited from your nominated financial institution account (the “nominated account”). Stripe is acting as an agent for The Hospital Research Foundation Group (the “Merchant”) and Stripe does not provide any goods or services to you.
- Stripe or the Merchant will give you at least 14 days notice in writing of any changes to the terms of the drawing arrangements.
- Stripe will keep information relating to your nominated account confidential in accordance with Stripe’s privacy policy, except where required for the purposes of conducting direct debits with your financial institution. Your personal information will be transferred by Stripe to the United States. If you do not want to provide your personal information to Stripe in connection with the Direct Debit Request, Stripe will not be able to debit your nominated account.
- Where the due date is not a business day Stripe will draw from your nominated financial institution account on the next business day.
- It is your responsibility to:
5a. Ensure your nominated account can accept direct debits;
5b. Ensure that there are sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account to meet each drawing on the due date;
5c. Advise immediately if the nominated account is transferred or closed or your account details change;
5d. Arrange a suitable payment method if Stripe or the Merchant cancels the drawing arrangements;
5e. Ensure that all authorised signatories nominated on the financial institution account to be debited authorise the Direct Debit Request. - Subject to the terms and conditions of your nominated financial institution account and your agreement with the Merchant, you may alter the drawing arrangements. Such advice should be received by the Merchant at least 7 business days prior to the drawing date for any of the following:
6.1 Changing your nominated account number
6.2 Deferring a drawing
6.3 Altering a Direct Debit Request schedule
6.4 Cancelling the drawings completely - If you require further information, please contact the Merchant.
Alternatively, you can also contact your financial institution. - If you believe that there has been an error in debiting your account, you should notify the Merchant as soon as possible. The Merchant will notify you in writing of its determination and the amount of any adjustment that will be made to your nominated account (if any). Stripe will arrange for your financial institution to adjust your nominated account by the applicable amount (if any). Alternatively, you can also contact your financial institution.
- The details of your drawing arrangements are contained in the above Direct Debit Request.
- Stripe reserves the right to cancel the drawing arrangements if three consecutive drawings are dishonoured by your financial institution, and for the Merchant to arrange with you an alternative payment method. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your nominated financial institution account to see whether dishonour fees apply. The Merchant may charge additional dishonour fees in accordance with your agreement with the Merchant.

Australian Breast Cancer Research (ABCR) is a charity of The Hospital Research Foundation Group. This research focuses on detection, management and treatment of breast cancer to help minimise the impact on Australian families. The research is both clinical and lab based with all donations going straight to breast cancer research.

Australian Heart Research
Australian Heart Research (AHR) is a charity of The Hospital Research Foundation Group. We are passionate about improving heart health and beating heart disease by advancing knowledge and research.
With one Australian dying from heart disease every 12 minutes, we are focused on delivering disease prevention strategies, improving diagnostics, treatments and hospital care to patients around Australia.

Australian Prostate Cancer
Australian Prostate Cancer (APC) is a charity of The Hospital Research Foundation Group. Australian Prostate Cancer was established to help fund vital medical research into the detection and treatment of prostate cancer, as well as preventing the metastatic spread of the disease.
Prostate cancer is the most common form of internal cancer in Australia with 1 in 4 men at risk of developing prostate cancer in their lifetime. Prostate cancer also claims more men’s lives in this country than breast cancer does in women every year.

Kidney, Transplant & Diabetes Research Australia
Kidney, Transplant & Diabetes Research Australia (KTDRA) is a partner charity of The Hospital Research Foundation Group. It supports ground-breaking medical research into some of the most chronic diseases in Australia and around the world.
By supporting clinical and laboratory research, KTDRA plays a lead role in increasing awareness as well as development and delivery of effective therapies and better care for patients with kidney disease, diabetes and those needing a transplant.

Military and Emergency Services Health Australia
Military and Emergency Services Health Australia (MESHA), previously The Road Home has been a charity of The Hospital Research Foundation Group since 2015. MESHA is a collaborative research institute dedicated to shaping and improving policy, programs and services for current and former members of the Australian military and emergency service personnel and their families.
MESHA focuses on the delivery of high quality and translational research outcomes that have an immediate and long-term impact on the mental health and wellbeing of Australia’s current and former military as well as frontline workers and their families.

The Hospital Research Foundation Group - Palliative Care
Since the successful merger of The Hospital Research Foundation Group and the Laurel Palliative Care Foundation in 2020, the organisation has been able to deliver even more community support through the expansion of services and investment of millions into vital research.
THRFG – Palliative Care strives to increase palliative care services across South Australian public hospitals to maximise impact and raise awareness about this essential area of patient care.

The Hospital Research Foundation Group - Parkinson's
Parkinson’s South Australia and Northern Territory (PSANT) joined THRF Group in July 2020, providing support and services to people living with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders as well as their carers, family, community and health professionals.
THRFG – Parkinson’s represents and supports the 8,000 people living with Parkinson’s and their family members. A continuum of support is provided from diagnosis and throughout the progression of the disease.
The passionate team is focused on enhancing choice, independence and wellbeing for people living with Parkinson’s. They are also committed to improving vital support services in regional and remote areas and expanding research capabilities to help stop, slow, reverse and eventually cure Parkinson’s. The Hospital Research Foundation Group - Arthritis
Arthritis SA joined THRF Group in March 2023, to enhance support services and progress vital medical research to improve the quality of life of people living with Arthritis and related conditions.
Now operating as The Hospital Research Foundation Group – Arthritis, we provide services to the one in four South Australians with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions including osteoarthritis, gout, autoimmune arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, ankylosing spondylitis, fibromyalgia and many others.
