Workplace Giving is a way for you to make donations to our lifesaving medical research and patient care services directly from your payroll. You can join the fight against disease and illness by nominating to give any amount from your pre-tax salary each pay period, providing stable and reliable funding for our world-leading researchers.

Benefits of Workplace Giving

It’s easy to become a workplace giver. Simply nominate a portion of your salary to go towards a cause close to your heart. You can choose from 50 areas of research or patient care to support, or just give to where it’s needed most.

  • icon memory Pre-Tax It’s pre-tax, so you receive an immediate tax benefit. There’s no need to wait until the end of the financial year.
  • icon crosshairs Automated It’s automated. Once you’re signed up, you don’t need to do anything. All the record-keeping is taken care of by us.
  • icon calendar Reliable Funding It provides stable and reliable funding so our researchers can focus on saving lives and improving care for all South Australians.

How to get started

Employees

If your workplace already has a Workplace Giving program in place, simply contact your Payroll Officer or HR department to nominate THRF Group as your chosen charity and we will take it from there!

If your workplace doesn’t yet have a Workplace Giving program in place, please contact us with your HR Manager’s contact details, and we will get in touch. We will let them know an employee has recommended us to become charity of choice, and can then determine how pre-tax salary donations will be made.

supporting the family heartbreak of a child in palliative care

$30 per fortnight

Provides an Art Therapy session for a patient at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Glenside Acute Mental Health Services or Laurel Hospice

Provides critical specialist health services to people in regional areas affected by Parkinson’s and other neurological/movement disorders

Breast cancer researcher

$90 per fortnight

Funds the last stage of testing for a new breakthrough treatment for breast cancer that could save thousands of lives
