Applications for Round 2 now open.
THRF Group WA is pleased to invite applications from health and medical researchers based in Western Australia for the 2026 Barry Marshall Travel Awards.
The Barry Marshall Travel Awards are available on a competitive basis to assist with some of the costs of participating in a national or international scientific conference. The awards are open to eligible health professionals and medical researchers who are pursuing a research project or initiative connected with a Western Australian Public Health Service Provider (including Public-Private Partnership providers).
Applications are invited from eligible applicants travelling to conferences commencing between 1 February 2026 and 31 January 2027. Requests for support must be submitted before travel has commenced in the appropriate application round – refer to the round guidelines below for more details.
The maximum funding that can be requested is up to $2,500.
Applications for Round 2 close Wednesday 15 July at 12:00PM (AWST).
