Congratulations to Dr Rachel Price from Fiona Stanley Hospital’s Emergency Department (ED), who received the Yusuf Nagree Award in 2025!
This award honours ED doctor Yusuf Nagree who passed away in 2019. Yusuf’s family, led by his parents Farida and Shakir, in conjunction with The Hospital Research Foundation Group, sponsor the yearly award to promote excellence in the FSH Emergency Department.
The Hospital Research Foundation Group’s Corporate and Community Development Manager in Western Australia, Chloe Partington, was on hand to present the award to Dr Price at Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club.
A special thank you to Mussaret Nagree who also attended the presentation, to award Dr Price her prize in front of colleagues, supporters, friends and family.
Dr Price, an Emergency Physician, was recognised by her peers for the “blood, sweat and tears” she has put into strengthening the medical intern, RMO and registrar training and supervision in the Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) ED.
