Palliative Care

Palliative care refers to the treatment, care and support given to people living with a life-limiting illness. Importantly, it is a family and patient-centred model of care and aims to provide for people’s physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

Palliative care helps families

Providing comfort and support to patients and their families during their time of need is the focus of palliative care.

Together with our charity extension The Hospital Research Foundation Group – Palliative Care (formerly Laurel Palliative Care Foundation), we have a passion for providing the highest quality palliative care services, informed by the latest research, and increasing education and awareness around palliative care.
