A spinal cord injury consists of damage to the spinal cord that often causes loss of mobility or feeling.
Spinal cord injuries can result from trauma (ie. car crash) or from disease or degeneration (ie. cancer).
The Hospital Research Foundation Group is proud to support clinicians, researchers and paramedics who are working hard to improve the outcomes of patients who present with a suspected spinal cord injury.
