Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a painful, chronic condition that can affect a woman’s fertility, caused when lesions form on organs such as the ovaries, fallopian tubes or intestines.

Endometriosis

It is estimated that 11% of Australian women suffer from endometriosis at some point in their life, with the disease often starting as a teenager.

Endometriosis can be difficult to diagnose and treat, leaving many women with years of severe pain and unknown damage to their fertility. More research is desperately needed to understand this painful condition and help the thousands of women diagnosed each year.
