The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) Group is pleased to invite Expressions of Interest from SA-based health and medical researchers for its 2023 Competitive Research Project Grant Round focused on Living Well after Bowel Cancer.
In this round, THRF Group seeks research proposals that aim to develop and evaluate innovative approaches to improving people’s ongoing quality of life after treatment for bowel cancer. Proposals must have a primary focus on addressing the physical, social, and/or psychological issues affecting ongoing quality of life for survivors of bowel cancer treatment.
Proposals are expected to describe the “next steps” whereby the anticipated outcomes from the research could be progressed and sustainably implemented to deliver beneficial health and wellbeing impacts for survivors of bowel cancer treatment, as well as the community more broadly.
THRF Group encourages proposals involving collaborative research across organisations, transdisciplinary teams of research and clinical personnel, and including early career researchers. Effective and meaningful consumer participation and engagement is also highly encouraged.
Proposals may request funding of up to $125,000 total for a maximum of two years.
Proposals must not duplicate or substantially overlap with existing projects or pending proposals. Please refer to the Guidelines for more details.
Expressions of Interest will only be accepted via SmartyGrants and must be submitted by the deadline of 4:00pm (ACDT) Wednesday 15th November 2023.
