Vietnamese community raises $45,000

Vietnamese Fundraiser

The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) Group is extremely grateful to the South Australian Vietnamese community who raised an incredible $45,000 for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) recently!

More than 300 members of the community came together across two sold out nights in mid-March to raise money which will help fund vital medical research and purchase equipment.

Held at Mansfield Park restaurant Ninh Kieu Mekong, the fundraiser was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, 16 March.

However, the response from the community was so great that organisers Sen Hong Group decided to hold an extra night filled with dancing, singing and delicious food.

Many members of the Vietnamese community have used TQEH facilities since migrating and feel very passionate about giving back.

Since 2015, the Vietnamese community have held fundraisers for THRF Group every three years, raising more than $120,000 for THRF Group.

A HUGE thank you to the Vietnamese community of South Australia for their outstanding generosity and their continued support of THRF Group.
