Staff, volunteers and ambassadors joined us in our Woodville office to raise essential funds for research and patient care!
Together, we raised $520,517 to fight disease and illness through improved healthcare and patient services in our community.
On Thursday 1 June, our community came together over 12 hours to raise essential funds to save and change lives in Australia!
Throughout Giving Day, our staff, volunteers and ambassadors joined in on the fun at our Woodville office by jumping on the phones to call their friends, family, colleagues and our community to join the fight against disease and illness.
Thanks to a generous group of supporters, we were able to double every donation!

Together, we raised over $520,000 for medical research and patient care!
The funds raised will go tp the Hospital Research Foundation Group’s extensive list of 50+ research areas, from birth to end of life.
This includes support for Dr Kylie Dunning’s research into advancing IVF for hopeful couples, Associate Professor Susan Wood’s work to fast-track a better way to diagnose bowel cancer, and support Associate Professor Kate Laver’s mission to help people newly diagnosed with dementia navigate the condition and achieve a good quality of life.
And that’s just a few of the projects THRF Group fought for on Giving Day! Our supporters could choose to raise funds to fight over 50 areas of disease and illness, such as cancer, Parkinson’s, stroke and mental illness.
Thanks to your support and those of our gift-matchers, we smashed our target of $450,000 and raised 115% of our goal, receiving 1836 donations.
“Thank you to all of our supporters, volunteers and businesses that partnered with us. It’s been a magnificent day and we are making a brilliant impact in South Australia,” CEO Paul Flynn said on the day.
It’s incredible what we can achieve when we work together! Thank you for your support on Giving Day.
