The Hospital Research Foundation Group is proud to support grassroots charity Treasure Boxes in their mission to help vulnerable families impacted by poverty, homelessness and domestic violence.
As a Gold Foundation Partner over the past three years, we have also directed funds specifically to the Safe Start Program – an early intervention service that provides vital nursery equipment to disadvantaged new mothers.
Treasure Boxes CEO Rikki Cooke said this incredible support has helped 1,574 disadvantaged babies over the past 12 months.
“As our Safe Start Sponsor, The Hospital Research Foundation Group has provided vital essentials to 492 unborn babies and 1,082 vulnerable and at-risk babies aged 0 to 3 years old,” Ms Cooke said.
“This equates to 1,574 babies who would otherwise have gone without the basics they needed to thrive and survive.
“This equipment helps keep babies safe and reduces their risk of injury and SIDS, and eases family stress that can lead to domestic and family violence, living under the poverty line and potential homelessness.
“Without the incredible support of the Foundation over the past three years, we would not have been in a position to grow and expand our impact across the state, to children and families who critically need to access our service.”
