Mercer SuperCycle

A Ride Like No Other

Mercer SuperCycle has been dedicated to supporting regional cancer patients by keeping families together under one roof for 10 years. We've achieved this by cycling to raise funds for The Hospital Research Foundation Group's Under Our Roof project. The funds we've raised have built family-style accommodation for country cancer patients and their families near Adelaide's major cancer treating hospitals. The final ride took place in 2021.

Providing a home away from home for country cancer patients and their families.

A cancer diagnosis is heartbreaking, and for country cancer patients, leaving their support networks and travelling to Adelaide for treatment can be a burden emotionally and financially.

The fact I could have my sister stay and support me meant the world to me, as well as having my partner come visit on weekends. The home was a Godsend and we couldn’t have asked for better.
